I honestly cant believe its been this long already! I definitely dont feel like I've been a 'mother' for 6 months! When I think back to 1 year ago this weekend, I was just telling some of my extended family that I was pregnant with twins at my uncle's wake and I had a little baby bump. So let's see in the past month: the girls can now roll both ways they are just beginning to scoot a little they both love their toes and fingers Sofia is a champion thumb sucker Sofia will put her arms out and lean to be picked up or come to me Sofia likes to pet Maia's spiky hair Sofia opens her mouth when you go to kiss her Maia is a toy thief Maia also tries ripping my shirt off when she wants to eat Maia thinks Maia is the funniest person in the world, she laughs like a crazy person Maia has become more vocal, she talks all the time now They are both teething like crazy, still getting up a gazillion times at night, down to taking 2 GOOD naps a day, they hum happy little songs on our walks, and are practicing with the sippy cups. They can both throw great temper tantrums too! I also set up their jumperoo last week. Sofia bounces sogracefully in it, sometimes sucking her thumb while she bounces. Maia jumps frantically like she is in a mosh pit, the whole thing bangs and slams! It is definitely their favorite 'toy' now! We have our 6mo appt on Tues! Cohlee That is hilarious about the jumperoo thing, that is exactly what Indira does. She did it so much this afternoon she fell asleep in it!!!! I LOVE the comparative pictures. Can't believe how big they are getting. WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are so beautiful and so happy, you are a great mom!

Tooo cute! I love how it sounds like they have such sweet, yet different, personalities! What a difference since those first pictures! I remember when my boys turned 6 mos & how emotional I got knowing we were 1/2 way to a year. Now that I'm nearing 9 months & 3/4 of year, I'm even MORE emotional! It's amazing how you want them to grow, yet to also stay little forever.....Have fun with your Jumperoo! It was our FAV for a LONG LONG TIME!

Happy 6 months Maia and Sofia! They are gorgeous! I was uploading the boys 6 month photos when I found you just posted. It's amazing to see how much they've grown!
you have beautiful girls!! enjoy the jumperoo, ours was THE biggest hit for several months, but lately they scream when i put them in after trapping their legs and sticking them in and they pull them out--but you gotta contain em! LOL anywho, happy half birthday, time really does fly by, so keep taking all the pictures you can! sandra
OMG, must be something in the water today but i am CRYING looking at the comparative pics of your little beauties. They are really amazing and you are one amazing mama to be doing this all by yourself. It's so nice to read the delight you take in them - and these next few months will bring even more amazement.
