6 more days!

It seems like I made this appointment years ago. It's finally almost here, and I can't wait. My doctor schedules the first appointment between 8-10 weeks and luckily I'll get a u/s. It just seems that I've been waiting forever. Come on Monday!

Plus, it's been kinda a yucky couple of weeks. I just haven't felt that great. I don't throw up, but I have a constant nauseous feeling all day. My bionic sense of smell has also kicked in, so everything makes me want to gag! I also feel so lazy that it's a struggle to do anything productive. (It's not as bad as it was with the girls, though.) I'm also having to "act" normal, since people at work don't know yet.

Well, I'll stop whining now!

 

Had to laugh at that bionic sense of smell comment... I totally relate to that... I can smell a poopy diaper from the next room...and dh won't believe me but if he has bad breath I can smell it from several feet away! LOL! I can't stand that initial wait either... About the only good thing that came from all the bleeding I had during the first trimester was that I got lots of appts and u/s starting at 5 weeks. So my wait wasn't nearly as long as I thought it would be... Now I can hardly believe that I "only" have 12 or 13 weeks left!! at the most!! yikes!!

 

I hope that Monday comes quickly for you! Like Tom Petty said, "The waiting is the hardest part".

You're one month away from your first trimester being over. I hope that passes quickly for you too and your nausea goes away. :hug99:

This pregnancy has really went by quickly for me, only 2 more weeks for me!! Wahooooo :clapping:

I could've written your 2nd paragraph to the letter. That is EXACTLy how I felt for the first 10.5 week. It FINALLY started to get better this past week or two. I never threw up either, but I hate like CRAP and lots of it when I WAS hungry...lol, so I've still gained about 7 lbs....lol!!

Goodluck with your u/s on Monday...it's such a relief when it's all over and you FINALLY know!! Cant' wait to hear all about it!
