6 months!

I was going to wait to post until I had written something up about their recent milestones, but I've been having trouble finding the time. I'm afraid my blogging has become mostly pictures at this point!

Anyways, here are some pictures of the kids at 6 months. I can't believe how fast it's gone. Sometimes I still find myself slipping and trying to call them newborns, and realizing that those days are long gone.

But I love every stage that they come to, at least so far. Now they're so funny and interactive. Even now Elanor is cackling in the background trying to get Ian's attention. She has decided that "laugh" means to make a strange, loud squawking sound (my DH always wants to ask her if she's a good witch or a bad witch when he hears it). It's unlike any baby laugh I've ever heard. And she coughs to get our attention. She also sits and blows slobbery rasberries, sometimes for half an hour at a time.

Ian loves faces. He'll grab your ears, smile and sing a happy song, before pulling you forward and trying to suck on your nose. It's his own special way of saying "I love you." He actually has happy songs for many things--he sings an ode to his pacifier when he wakes up, he sings his little carseat song, and he sings when he's happy to see you. He rolls all over the place to get anything he wants. We have to really keep an eye on him these days.

They both love sucking on each other's heads. I think my kids tend to be a little on the weird side, but we like them that way.

Oh mine are 6 months old too !!! I just love it they are so much less work and so much more fun. You have beautiful babies you must be so proud.
