Just wanted to write a short lil update. The girls hit the six month mark this weekend and I kinda want to cry! My babies are growing way to fast!! Anyway we have Dr apts on the 20th so I dont know their weights. Right now we are sitting up, cruising around in our walkers for a few min. a day, rolling everywhere, eating baby food and still going strong with the breastfeeding! I am loving every minute of this twin mommy thing. We start coaching soccer for Siera tonight (DH and I together) so we will see how everyone handles that but the babes love to be outside so I am not worried a bit! Thanks for all the wonderful support so far. I will update again after our Dr appts and attach a pic or two then!! Thanks!

Thanks for the updates, Briana! My boys are a few days away from 6 months as well. It's absolutely amazing how quickly the time has gone by!

Holy Moly, we are right behind you and I, too, wonder WHERE the time went? I was talking to my mom the other day and i said that i didnt' know how it happened that they got so big/old and she said 'how DID it happen?" and i replied 'one very long night at a time!"

it makes me sad, i worry that i won't remember specifics that i wish i did, that i havent' been writing down enough or keeping a real journal or or or. On the other hand, i have about a kajillion photos (one day i'll learn how to post or link), and i think some of it just resides in our bodies.

But this age is SO DELICIOUS!!! I can SEE their minds working as they focus on things, play with stuff (we call the gyminis their 'crack mats', becaus they're addictive, and when they are on them we refer to it as 'going to work' because they're so focused and industrious.

we visited a beautiful rose garden and there was a nice family sitting on the grass: the mom was in a lawn chair, there was a bouncy seat next to her, and the dad was lying on a blanket on the grass w/the baby. They looked happy as could be and i thought, looking at them, 'how sweet', then 'oh, those poor people they only have ONE baby!"

Isn't it amazing? Today is my babies' 9mo birthday. I just can't believe we're already on this side of one!

Hehe.. I know... you are crackin' me up! I just went through maternity clothes for a friend today and it does seem like I was just barely reaching the tip of my tummy!! I kinda miss it... but not that much!! lol

    I second that!

We just had our 6 mos appt today and I can't believe it either!

Boo Hoo to the shots though, I hate that part!

My DD weighs 15 lbs and DS weighs 19, I can't believe how much they have come since the NICU days!

Congrats to you and your babies!
