The babies were 6 months old on Sunday. They are getting so big - we have the 6 month well baby tomorrow. Jack is going into his convertible carseat this week. It's so big, and he's so little, and he's never going to be in his little infant seat again. :(

:hug99: But think about how much they have accomplished in 6 months! :hug99:

I agree, some of the milestones and some of the months that pass are hard. I still have moments where I get sad. But then they start doing something so cute and lovable that they couldn't before. It gets easier, but some days, I know exactly how you feel. :hug99:

I really didn't think it was going to bug me. Normally I'm just excited about the next t hing, but something about putting away their little clothes always gets me. And the carseat thing is just so sad! He's like a big boy now. And Anna's just a little behind him in weight - she'll be soon. :(

:hug99: Some milestones just hit me hard, too.

I was so excited when they turned one. I had finally made it through that tough First Year. But I got so sad at the same time. It's hard when you are putting things away, too. Just keep thinking about what is coming next, and that seemed to help me out. :hug99:

They are not big until they start talking back like a teenager at age 4. Yes, there is that to look forward to as well. It's all good, and while the days sometimes go by slowly, the years just fly by. I'm stocking up as many memories, hugs, and giggles as I can. :hug99: The best is yet to come!

I have a close friend whose son is 13 and going on a date this weekend! Can you even imagine! It's this constant line of excitement about the next thing and feeling that they are growing up too fast. Jack is holding his own bottle now, and I am crazy excited about that milestone! :yahoo:

Happy 6 months. I am starting to get sad too b/c mine are almost 11 months old. I know they will be walking soon and from there they grow so fast. I look at my 8 year old sometimes and can not believe how fast time flies.

Happy 6 months!! I do feel a little emotional when I put away their littler clothes too :hug99: . I just find it amazing that they've been in convertible carseats for a few weeks now. I'm so glad to hear they're doing well!
