6 months old

    I can't believe my babies are 6 months old. It seems like just yesterday when they were itty bitty's in the NICU, learning how to drink out of a bottle, attached to cords, looking at us so helplessly. Now they're happy, healthy 1/2 year olds, rolling all over the place, sitting up, eating everything you put near them, giggling contagiously. People used to always say, "Time goes by fast, enjoy every minute" and I always thought, "yea, yea yea, whatever." I now know what they meant.
    We went for our 6 month appt checkup/shots today, and everything went really well. Alexa is a hefty 16lb, 12 oz and Allyson is 15lb, 11 oz. They are both in the 85th percentile for height, and are meeting all of their milestones.
    Thank you everyone for all of your advice, suggestions, shoulders to lean on, etc.. I don't know where I'd be without this amazing forum and all of you wonderful mommy's (and daddy's). :)

    :clapping: Woohoo!!! Happy belated 1/2 bday!! They are so cute!!

    We have our 6mo apt today! I am so excited to go and see what they weigh and stuff (minus the shots part of course!)!! Great weights BTW!!

    Yea for 6 months! Beautiful little girls! This age is so much fun... hopefully the next 6 months don't go by too fast!
