6 months old today

I can't believe my twinnies are 6 months today!

So much they are doing right now:

Arjun
Can sit on his own for a minute or two
Needs minimal help standing while holding on to something
Babbling-he actually said mamamama TODAY!
Laughing
Rollng in both directions
holding objects, passing them hand to hand and taking them out of his sister's hand
army or inchworm crawling to objects
Responds to his name
Eats cereal, oatmeal and sweet potatoes and LOVES them
Can drink out of a sippy cup


Indira
Can sit for several minutes on her own
Stands with some help but not much
babbling
laughing
holding objects, passing them hand to hand and taking them out of her brother's hand
Can lay on her side and pick her head and chest up (in an attempt to sit up)
Army or inchworm crawl to objects
Responds to her name
Eats cereal, oatmeal and loves sweet potatoes
Can drink out of a sippy cup

We just did sippy cups today, Arjun got it right away that is what it is for and Indira wanted to throw hers but then looked at Arjun and copied him! I didn't think they were cognitive of that stuff yet but apparently it is more cause and effect than anything. Either way it was adorable!

And when I was feeding them dinner today, they were in their walkers and Arjun kept looking at Indira and she would smile or bounce up and down and Arjun would just crack up!

I have found that it just keeps getting better! 6 1/2 months was a real turnaround for us ... and it seems each week that goes by it just gets more and more fun!

I (finally) just CANNOT imagine NOT having twins!

So cute, and always so darn happy!! Their cheeks must hurt. You should be very proud of your babies and all the milestones and progress they have made. They make my twins seem lazy! Also with the 6 month mark Indira seems to have gotten a lil more hair! :lol: Hopefully mine will grow some too!

Did they actually drink anything out of the sippy cups, if so I'm IMPRESSED!!! Drew has no clue what it's for and Livi will chew on the spout but that's about it.

They are doing great and you are doing a GREAT job Mama!!
