6 Months Already????

Hi there. I just wanted to share my 2 latest journal entries from the boys' website. I don't usually cut and paste this stuff for you all, I just cannot believe they are already 6 months old.


Therapist Evaluation and 6-Month CheckupAbout a week and a half ago, the boys got their therapist evaluation. The doctor wanted them to be seen because he was slightly concerned about their development. Well, the boys had something to prove, I guess, because they were little hams for the ladies that visited us. They cooed and smiled up a storm. Plus, they passed all of the tests with flying colors. We are so proud!

Yesterday we had a pedi appointment. The boys have gotten bigger, that's for sure. Here's the latest stats.
*Tyler
Weight: 17 lbs, 12 oz
Length: 27 in
*Jacob
Weight: 16 lbs, 14 oz
Length: 26 3/4 in

After the nurse measured the boys, their doctor did an exam. Everything looked good. Next, the dreaded shots were given. I think I dread them more than they do. I hate hearing them cry. At the end of our appointment, Dustin and I asked a couple of questions about solid foods. We'll be starting them soon.

To sum it up, Jacob and Tyler are doing great! We're really amazed at all they are doing and can't wait to see the milestone they'll reach next.

First Solid Food
The boys had their first solid food today. They each ate about 1/4 of a container of sweet potatoes. Although they still have some of the infant reflex to push food out, they managed to get quite a bit in their mouths. It was fun for the boys and Mommy.

They grow up so fast dont they...I cant believe how old all my kids are either

 

WOW, 6 months already? I remember when you were pregnant with those twinkies in Expecting! It seems like only yesterday. Sounds like they are both doing so well! Thanks for sharing.

 

I totally know what you mean! Mine are 8 months and I can't believe that 1 year is so close! I also remember how much EASIER it got after 6 months compared to the 1st six months!

 

I can't believe your boys are already that old. I remember you from expecting and also your watermelon belly!

 

I had the beach ball belly. I can't take credit for the watermelon belly. That was way cooler!!!
