6 month vaccines

Hi everyone,

One of my twins has a red, hard, raised bump where they gave him on of his shots :unsure: (6 momth shots even though he is 7.5 months). He got his shot yesterday and I am not sure which shot went in that leg. Have any of your kids had this reaction to a shot before?? He doesn't seem to be any fussier than normal.

Is this a normal reaction?? My other twin does not have this problem, although his legs are hard where they have him the shots too.

 

DS had it at his 4 months vaccines. I always do too

 

swollen at all? try putting a cool, damp cloth on it. might help?

 

Our girlies get the red raised bump with all of their shots. Sometimes it lasts as long as 2 weeks. Cool cloths help a lot!!

 

Very normal with an itra-muscular injection, don't worry about it.

 

We got our 6mo shots the end of july and Gavin still has a small bump on his right leg. I actually got my tetnus shot yesterday and forgot about it til this morning when I woke up with a bump and a sore arm. OUCH!!!

Hey our boys were born 3 days apart! :woohoo: Mine were born Jan 22, 2008!!!! Thanks for the info-it looks much better today
