6 month update

My girls turned 6 months yesterday and we had our 6 month appt. Gracie weighed 17 lbs 6.5 ozs and she was 26 1/2 inches tall. Haley weighed 17 lbs 13 ozs and she was 27 inches tall. When the doctor came in the room he first saw Haley and said "Wow, did she eat the other one?" It made me laugh out loud. Anyway, he said they both look great! They were huge drama queens about the shots. Worse than they have ever been. DH couldn't get out of work so my mom went and as much help as she was, I think they wanted their daddy. I hate seeing them so sad. I'm glad they don't need shots at 9 months. I will be a nice change. They were having so much fun on their outing until those nasty ladies came with the needle's.

Anyway, just wanted to share their progress.

GREAT! Sounds like they are growing well! Way to go Gracie and Haley! Do they look different sizes even though they are very similar weights/heights? Just curious because of the comment from the pedi.

It looks like not only are ours days apart, but growing just about the same also. That's encouraging. I guess we are doing something right! We have our 6mo. appt. next week. I can't wait!

No. They actually look pretty close in size. I think he made the comment because even though they were pretty big for twins when they were born, they always looked skinny. SO to now see them look so chubby, I think it was just a shock.

 

Whoo hoo! Your girls are so big! I can also say that I'm glad that they don't get shots at the 9 month appt since I always take the boys by myself.

 

Sounds like a great appointment!! Way to go mommy for making it to the 6 month mark already!!

 

I know. I cannot believe how fast the last 6 months have gone.

Jennifer, great appt! Kevin was about 17 lbs at his 6 month too! They are growing like weeds! WTG Gracie and Haley!
