6 Month Update and Pictures

I'm a little behind because the twins were 6 months almost two weeks ago and had their 6 month check up last week! But, better late than never. Anna is now 16 pounds and Jack is 18 pounds, 4 ounces. Anna has excema and has to be slathered with Aquaphor day and night, and poor Jack has to see a urologist about his circumcision woes. Otherwise, they are doing great!

Milestones: They are babbling up a storm, lots of gaas, baas, daas, etc. Anna especially is constantly saying "Ah da da, ah da da da da da." Much to DH's delight! Jack talks more when he's by himself in his crib or his carseat, and he makes lots of sounds with his mouth - lip smacking, blowing raspberries, etc. He thinks it's hilarious.

They are both rolling fiends now, rolling all over the place in both directions. They are trying to get up on all fours and are very frustrated that they can't! I don't know if I'm ready for crawlers, so they can take their time! They are both getting close to sitting, I think. Jack can sit leaning forward on his hands, and he can sit for about 20 seconds. Anna is a wiggler, so she won't sit still long enough to balance.

They both put weight on their legs and can stand supported for a long time - they think it is very fun and that they are big!

It's amazing how much more they play with their toys, even week to week, and both have finally figured out how to bounce like mad in their Jumperoo. They just bounce and bounce and laugh the whole time.

They are basically STTN (Jack needs a paci reinsertion around 4 or 5, but we are getting better all the time) and on a good nap schedule, at least at home. Getting better with solids.

In short, they are getting so big! I can't believe how time has flown.

Love the pics. You have some cutie pies. I love the swing pic. Glad to hear they are rolling around. Mine actually got easier once they were crawling. They are now more content. We did however, baby proof the living room and made it their play area so they have lots of fun playing.
