I was just wondering how many times a day you nurse/bottle feed your 6 mo old. Please share. Also how long are they sleeping at night. Mine to 12 hours at night from 7 to 7. Then they eat at about 7, 9, 11, 2, 5, and 7 just before bed. I am also feeding solids twice a day at 12 and 6.

Sorry, I cannot answer as we only do 3 bottles a day now. The middle one is from a sippy now but they still take the full amount. They also have solids 3 times a day!

Mine take 4 bottles during day at approx 7, 11, 3, and 7 (before bed) and then usually one during the night. The number of ounces vary as they sometimes do not take a full bottle but I offer 6 oz each time. They also started solids recently are eating about 2 tablespoons of cereal, 1 fruit, and 1 veg per day. I'm very jealous that your babies sleep 12 hrs w/out a feed!

Mine are breastfed so they nurse at 7, 10, 2, 5 and 8(bedtime). They eat 3 meals a day now with cereal + fruit for breakfast, vege for lunch and meat+vege for dinner. They sleep at 8 Pm and wake up around 7-9am.

Mine were bfing about 8-10 times a day at that point. Mine were not sleeping thru the night by any stretch of the means, they were waking about every 1-3hrs all night long, so that REALLY added to the daily total of feedings  But those night bfing sessions are the ones I look back and  , pure peace and love
I was feeding solids once a day and ds still wasn't even opening his mouth.

They are wonderful, growing, STTN 13+hrs, 2+hr napping fools now :winking0009:

Mine take 4 bottles a day & one still does a middle of the night feed.

We typically do bottles around 7:30, 11:30, 3:30, & 6:30. Ounces vary from 5-8 oz with each feed. My one goes from 6:30pm-7:30am without a feed & my other usually takes around 4oz between 2-4am. We're working on dropping that one though ;).

We do solids twice daily. Cereal, fruit, puffs, & water around 8:30am and then veggie, puffs, & water around 2:30pm. If we do solids too late in the day, they don't take their night time bottles well & don't sleep well, so for now...this is what works!

At 6 mo, mine were probably nursing about 8x/day, give or take. I was offering solids around dinnertime. (Key word: OFFERING, since they didn't want anything to do with it! ) And they'd be up once or twice a night for feeding.

    7AM BF
8AM 4 TBSP cereal (oatmeal) mixed w/ 2 oz EBM and 2 oz fruit
    12 BF
    3 BF
4:30 4 oz veggie thickened with 1 TBSP rice cereal and 2 oz fruit
    6 BF

and BF once at night ... anywhere from midnight to 4AM ... whenever they wake.

I feel like mine really snarf down the solids! Some people give a few teaspoons and I feel like mine are eating A LOT! I hope they are "normal" =)
