Wow. Last night was awesome. The girls are now 11 weeks old (1.5 weeks adjusted). Last night, we fed them from 9:30-10:30 p.m. and put them to bed. I woke up at 3:30 because I seriously needed to pump (we bottle feed EBM at night because it is much faster) and the girls were still sleeping. I had to wake them up at 3:45 a.m. to eat. That means they went for six hours between feedings. We were all back in bed by 4:30 a.m. and then they slept another four hours!

I loved the extra sleep and feel really good today. Should I worry that they went that long between feedings? They are both gaining weight well and they did both eat a large amount before bed last night. They are back to a three hour feeding schedule since this morning.

My girls are going about that long at night (if not longer) without feeding and seem to be thriving. In fact, they seem to happier babies for getting the extra sleep and I know I'm sure a happier momma.

Hi, our boys were fed three hourly during the day, and on demand at night. As long as they are gaining weight and happy, just let them sleep. My boys starting sleeping through at 12 weeks 8 hours straight, so sounds like your girls are showing signs of wanting to sleep longer.

I would love 6 hours of sleep!! My boys still wake about every 3 to eat. Good for you- like pp's have said, as long as they gain weight and are thriving, let 'em sleep!! :)
