5 month appointment

We went in for a 5 month check up today.
Geneva is 12 lbs 4 oz and 24 inches long.
Gretchyn is 12 lbs 6 oz and 23 1/4 inches long.
They are finally on the charts now!!! Doctor said developmentally they are doing great. They can do everything they are supposed to be able to do by their adjusted age and they can do some things they should be able to do according to their real age.

We got the official okay to start solids now. We've tried cereal but now we can start more.
We finally have a long stretch between appointments now. We don't have to go back for 2 months.

Congratulations on a great appointment! Good luck with solids too. It's fun and a bit challenging (oh, and VERY messy). If anyone has a suggestion for how to clean up rice cereal I'd love to hear it. I can't get the stuff off of them!
