4D ULTRA SOUND YAY OR NAY?

JUST WONDERING IF ANY OF U GIRLS HAVE DONE A 4D U/S BECAUSE I WANT TO BUT NOT SURE IF IT'S WORTH IT DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY R A BIT MORE CROWDED ...... AND IF U DID HOW MANNY WEEKS WERE U ??? AND WERE U SATISFIED ?? POST PICS IF POSSIBLE

 

Well I am having a 4D u/s scheduled for 25 weeks and the place that I am going to said they don't really like to do it much longer after that because it is really crowded in there and you can't see as much.

 

I would love to have one! I hope to see more responses...

 

I did one for my dd and it was totally worth it!!! We almost did one for these 2 but the prices have shot through the roof so dh didnt think we should. I know the place where we went said they dont do twins past 22 weeks FYI. Share the pics if you get it done!!!

 

We are having one done this Saturday, I am 21 weeks. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

 

I went there at 17 weeks, one of the pics I got of Baby B is my avatar. The pics weren't very clear because we went so early but we got a few good ones. We really did it to find out the genders.

 

We opted not to officially have a 4D u/s, but the tech let us have a "sneak peek" at our bpp on Monday. The pics are in my blog, they are pretty blurry due to the lack of room that the babies have, but we managed to at least get a good one of Baby B, Baby A wouldn't take his hand away from his face! I think I would have been mad if I had paid for a full session.

 

i would, i didn't get one done with any of my pregnancies and i kinda wish now that i did.

well my baby shower is on sat ... if i get a lil bit of cash ill call and ask if it would be a good idea in 27 weeks now so i hope itll be ok

 

We had 4D u/s at 25 wks after seeing friends of ours went with their daughter. It was a bit more crowded with the boys. They were bunched up and crowded, but we did get to see some movement and facial shots. You'll notice the pic on my counter had both of their little faces!! It was an awesome experience. But you may be too late. We were told that they like to have twins done before 28 weeks because it gets too hard to see anything. Good luck if you decide to go!!

 

I am going next week....right before 25 weeks. I was told by the place doing mine that 25 weeks was the most pg they wanted a twin mommy. Thye said it still should be ok...they basically said that the pics would be best from about 20-25 weeks since the babies will have more fat on them and look more like babies but after 25 weeks with two it would just be too crowded to get good shots....I am hoping we get some but I am mostly doing it for my mom since she lives 13 hours away and is unable to be there for any of the u/s. We don't even want to know the sexes of our little surprises so...just for fun. Hope they come out ok.
