4 Year Well Child Visit

we had our 4 year well child visit yesterday and Abby has gained 6 lbs since last year!!! Holy growth spurts batman! She stayed right around 24-25 lbs from the time she was over 2 until now...she's 31 lbs (25th percentile) and 39.5 inches tall...this is the first time she's on the growth charts!!! Ian is 36 lbs and 41.5 inches and is 45th for height and 75th for weight!!

Ian is cognitively on a 1st grade level - he is reading and doing games on the Leapster that are far beyond his age group...Abby is also around a K level at this time - she knows her shapes, colors, numbers and alphabet but has the imagination and creativity of a 1st grader....she is also socially ahead of her brother - he's a bit more cerebral and she'd just rather flirt with the world - it is her stage after all!!

I've always said from birth that when they start driving and get their first speeding ticket Ian is so sensitive he'll cry to the cop and Abby will just flash her boobs! LOL...

no shots this year, will get boosters next year for K...

Yay for a good app't! I know they've been little peanuts, so it must feel good to see them getting on the charts. And wow, those are some smart kids! Are they in preschool, or are you waiting for K? I bet they'll love it.

I have a total flirt/drama queen too. She will go up to a random stranger and pull a cute face and tell them that she looked at the moon and it said "Ivy!" Why yes, sweetheart, the entire world does revolve around you...
