I can't believe my babies are going to be big sisters!!! Anyone else out there with infant twins and pg?

My daughter is a twin mother and she got pregnant at about the same time( 10 mo twins) as you. The girls are 21months now and they have a 2 month old brother. The girls are doting "little mothers" with the baby. Having 3 young ones is certainly a challenge but my daughter would tell you it is doable. Best of luck.

Congratulations! My baby was born 6 weeks ago and 3 days later the twins turned one so they are a little younger but they LOVE the new baby. Of course they want to suck up my attention still but they hug and kiss the new baby and are really good with her. As much as you can be for 13 month olds. I really think it is easier to have the twins first because they are used to sharing attention with each other if you know what I mean or at least it is that way for us. I think yours being a bit older will be able to be more "helpful" getting diapers and such so they may enjoy that. Good luck!

Well, my boys weren't babies, so no. But I just wanted to extend my congratulations! My boys have surprised me with how great they are with their little sister.

I had my youngest and 1 week later the twins turned 1. You can do it! I found the hardest thing was going to hospital and leaving the twins that I had never been away from before. They coped well and now that they are 2.5 and 1.5 they get along great. We are pregnant at the moment so when I have this one we will have 4 under 3! :D Good luck with everything!and Congratulations!

Let me know if you ever need someone who understands

It won't be too bad. My DS was 17 months when the twins were born and then the twins were 17 months when #4 was born. They were 9 months when I found out I was pregnant.

My twins are 8.5 months old and I'm 5 months pregnant, so they will be roughly a year apart. Luckily we all have everything baby so there isn't too much to plan for! This pregnancy has flown by, my pregnancy with the twins seemed like it took forever!
Congrats and we'll all get through it :D

    Hi ladies
I hope you don't mind if I join in. I am looking for a little support. After 7 years of infertility, 5 intrauterine inseminations, 3 IVF cycles I became pregnant with boy girl twins. They are amazingly wonderful babies and are now 14 1/2 months old. Well, you can imagine my surprise and anxiety when I found out I am 6 weeks pregnant. I am just trying to imagine how things will change for the twins. I am sad for them since they have been our whole world. I am sad about weaning them from nursing.
I am nervous and apprehensive about the pregnancy, will I be too tired to care for the twins during pregnancy? Will they be ok with all of the changes? Will we be able to afford another child? Will it put too much stress on my husband and I?
I can use all the support I can get!
    Thank you all for listening.
