I don't know what's up w/ my belly, but I still look pregnant. I'm pretty sure I have diastasis recti (or whatever that abdominal wall separation issue is called). I still look like I'm 4 months pregnant. I have a pot belly and it's not cute. I HATE IT. I feel very self conscious about it. I'm skinny everywhere else but my belly. I know it seems superficial to be so pre-occupied w/ this, but it is really frustrating and depressing. I started some ab exercises, hopefully it will help. Anyone else have this belly issue? AGH!

    Um yep.
I'm almost 3 YEARS PP and I still have a belly. I've been asked if I was pregnant many times.

Don't think mine is ever going to look normal again. If the ab exercises work please let us know!!

4 months pp is WAY too soon to know what it will really look like! It takes most twin moms a full year until it is pretty much to what it will be (whatever that may be  ).

I am 7 mths PP and still have a belly. I was hoping it would go down but do far it's sticking around. Of course this may have something to do with my nightly ice cream feast. I am skinny everywhere else except my belly too...I suck it in or wear the body shaper tank tops if I really need to hide it.

I've been hoping this is true and it will get better. I've been doing ab exercises, but not often enough. And I'm still scared I'm not doing them the right way and am making the separation worse.

I still had a tummy 4 months pp, I remember going out to dinner with DH for the first time since the girls were born and the waitor congratulated me on being pregnant. I just smiled and didn't say a thing. It stung a bit but as my OB said it took 9 months for your stomach to get as big as it was and it's going to take atleast that long for it to get back to normal. My stomach has gotten so much better, it just takes time! Don't be too hard on yourself!
