4 months already...gosh

This is a few days late but here it goes.


Peyton turned 4 months old on the 10th. OMG how has it been four months already?? :shok: Can somebody explain to me how it seems like yesterday a trip from the couch to the potty felt like I just ran a marathon with my big pregnant belly and today I have a smiling, gooing, holding his head up 4 month old? I mean who switched my tiny newborn for this active 4 month old?? Anybody else feel the same way?? Anyways, back to the point of posting this. Peyton is doing absolutely great! He's smiling and cooing and holding his upper body up really well. We went to his appointment the other day and he's 11 pounds 9 oz and 23 1/2 inches long! I can't believe how fast he's grown. And to think he is a preemie and used to be so small just makes it all that much more amazing. In some aspects though it seems like this 4 months has drug on and on. I ache to hold my daughter just one more time and to sing her one more song and to look into those beautiful eyes one more time. I miss her so much but I don't know what I would do with out my little man. I can't be sad or upset or anything but happy when I see that gum smile and hear squeals of joy from him. Enough mushy stuff though!

Peyton has a beautiful smile!

 

Our boys are very close in age and I just spent the past 4 or 5 hours crying because it's like I just stopped and realized that my babies are growing so fast! I felt so insane because they make me so incredibly happy but seeing this time fly by so fast is heartbreaking. Anyway, just when I got my emotions under control...I read this post! It was so touching. You have such a beautiful, young HAPPY family. It's really refreshing to see. God bless you and yours.

 

I look at him and can just SEE that personality beaming through! What a cutie. I can't believe he's four months old already.
