My boys had their 4 month well visit yesterday. They are each exactly 13 lbs! Second visit in a row that they weigh the exact same amount! Roman is catchingup to Joel in height also. He is 23 3/4 inches, and Joel is 24 even. Last time, they were an inch and a half apart!!! Now only 1/4 inch!

We survived the immunizations, but they are still feeling a little out of sorts today. They're currently sleeping like it's their job!

We've decided this is the weekend when we'll move them into their own cribs--in their own room. I'm such a crybaby, I've been boohooing about it all day. I'm going to miss looking over and seeing them sleeping next to me in the middle of the night!!! But they are getting too big to share, so, it's time.

Thats crazy that they're almost the same height in that short of time. Sounds like a good visit! Good luck moving them!!

    Happy 4mo bday!

    Sounds like a great check-up.

I remember I was so sad when I moved the boys from our room (it was much earlier than yours because my DH made me). I sleep so well now and so do they.

Sounds like a great visit!!! And remember just because they have their own room and cribs doesn't mean you can't bring them to bed with you to nurse

Sounds like a great appt. I am sure they will be fine with their own room.

ahhh, seems so sad to make the move into the crib. Makes me realize that I might be doing that soon if they keep growing they way they are. boohoo. Glad the appt. went well!

Congrats on your great apt.! ;-)
Let us know how the move goes...I am planning on doing the same at 4 months. We did w/ my oldest DS and he slept much longer at night as a result.
This time around....Knowing how quickly they grow up, I am hesitant to move the twins. I am getting sad about it already.

Well, we moved them last night--and they did great! They only woke twice to nurse. Roman woke at about 3am and I fed him then dreamfed Joel. Joel woke at 6ish and I fed him and dreamfed Roe.

My husband said it was the best night's sleep he's had since the boys came home (gee, i wonder if maybe its because he was not woken up to change diapers???)

They also slept in almost an hour later this morning! Well, Joel woke up, but he entertained himself just fine. If they'd still been in the same crib together, he'd have kicked his brother, woke him up and started us all off about an hour earlier. As it is, he just played by himself until he got his legs stuck through the crib bars, then he said "ehahhhhhh" and "uuuuughhhh" and I thought "those aren't happy sounds" and I went in the check and he grinned at me and I knew it was time to get them up!

    I think we'll survive! :D
