4 month check up

Hannah and Jackson had their 4 month check up yesterday. Jackson weighed 18 lbs 12 oz and was 24 and 1/2 inches long. Hannah weighed 13 lbs 13 oz and was 24 and 1/2 inches long. My ds is in the 95 percentile in weight! I guess he will play football like his daddy! They took their shots like champs and haven't had any major issues from them. They haven't had any fever and they haven't been fussy. The pediatrician said we can start introducing solids. He said try rice cereal and stage one food. We tried cereal and bananas and both seemed to really enjoy it. I told dh that our babies are growing up so fast . Sometimes I wish they could stay babies forever. I just wanted to share their milestones. Thanks for reading.

You have a big boy there!! That's great...great appointment! I know what you mean about them growing up too fast.

 

I know he's a big boy! My husband is 6'2" and 250 pounds. I guess Jackson is going to take after him. Hannah is petite like me.

 

ours have there 4 month apt soon also, i can't wait to see what there weights are now. They are just growing like crazy. Congrats on a great apt

Congrats, good appt! Normally I would be sad that they are growing too fast but today, after many many sleepless nights, it couldn't come quick enough for me!

All kidding aside, Jackson is one big boy! What a cutie! My Patrick is 80% and I am starting to wonder where he came from, but he is 20lbs and 6 months so Jackson far outweighs him....Go Jackson!

 

wow!! great weights!! it seems like the whole time you are pregnant -
time drags then once the babies arrive BAM!! they are weeks, months,
years old!! it would be niceto have it the other way around!!
I can't believe mine are 2 weeks old - it seems like only yesterday that we were talking about having another baby and now they are 2 weeks old!!!!

 

Just curious - what did your twins weigh at birth?

Our 4 month appt is tomorrow. I am guessing that my boy will weigh 15 lbs and my girl will weigh 13 lbs. They were 5lbs 2 oz and 4lbs 6 oz at birth. My older DD was only 11 lbs at 4 months but the twins are much more roly poly babies than she ever was.

Congrats on a great appointment! It sounds like they are growing great! I remember when you posted about having them, I can't believe they are that old already!

Our babies have the same birthday! Jackson weighed 5 lbs 9 oz and Hannah weighed 6 lbs 12 oz. I hope Grant and Kelsey have a great appointment.

 

Cool that our twins are birthday buddies! Grant weighs 14 lbs 2 oz and Kelsey weighs 13 lbs 5 oz.
