4 mo. appointment

We had a great appointment. The doctor is really pleased at how they are developing and gaining weight. They are where they should be at developmentally for their adjusted age and in some areas, ahead.
They came in weighing
Emily 11 lbs 7 oz
Ben 13 lbs 6 1/2 oz

He is still pounds bigger which is okay. It is crazy to think they started out weighing the same. They have gotten so big!

 

Congrats! That is good news. We just got our Synagis shots on Tuesday (I hate those things) and the boys got weighed. We're at 5 mos- Lukas 14.5 and Jamie is 3 oz shy of 13. My boys started within 1/2 an oz of each other. It's always good to have the good doctor days to make up for the bad ones

 

Sounds like a great appointment! They are getting so big. I remember when you posted your birth story. Where does the time go? I am so glad they are doing so well. How did they do getting their shots?

Sounds like everything is great! I can't believe your babies are 4 months old.

 

Our twins are heavyweights; we had our 4-month appt. this morning, and Elijah weighed 17lb 10oz, while William was 17lb 12oz! Together they weigh as much as my 3-year-old!

They were born at 38 weeks, with Will weighing 7lb 5oz, and Eli 6lb 11oz, so they weren't exactly teeny litle newborns to start with.

 

Wow! It seems like just yesterday I was reading your birth story (while I was still hugely pregnant!) I can't believe our babies are four months! It is going too fast!

Those are great weights for that stage! It is amazing how fast they grow!
