Wow. 4 more days. That is ridiculous. I go back to the dr. today. He really thought I wouldn't make it til this week. Well surprise here we still are. I thought I was going to the hospital Friday due to getting sick but turned out to be nothing. My mom took the babies for the weekend just in case something were to happen. That was so strange not having them here but "the trial run" went pretty well although my mom is beat to death tired. So I'd have contractions and kept thinking something was happening all weekend then I'd be fine. I did alot of shopping without babies slobbering on my coupons and dh still will not dtd to get things going despite dr's orders. (otherwise I bet a baby would be here) So when I go today I'll see about having a scheduled csection friday if I make it till then) Either way next week this time we should definitely have a baby. That is strange but I guess I am as ready as I'll ever be. DH would like the baby to wait at least another month like that's happening lol.

Hey -- me too! I'm scheduled for induction on Friday, but I keep hoping something will happen before then. I keep having lots of contractions, even some that wake me up at night, but no luck so far. Good luck to you!

Goodluck to you...sorry to hear that baby isn't making it's way to the world any sooner :(, but soon enough!!! I too kept thihnking that nothing was happening, was anxious to meet Olivia, etc...to my surprise, she broke my water 4 days before my scheduled c/s. I was NOT prepared....I had just quit work on Friday, spent Saturday in L&D for a severe migraine being tested for pre-e and was discharged that evening and my water broke Sunday morning. I had NOTHIGN packed for the twins to spend the week with my parents, I didn't get my pedicure (LOL...I know, but it was high on my priority list...hehehe). But, in the end, I was SO happy she arrived early!

Well I'm back from the dr. and disgusted. Looks like I'll have a csection Friday and what pisses me off is dh knows what needs to be done to start this going but no he still will not touch me. It's pretty bad when you'd rather me go through major surgery than to actually have sex with me. But whatever it's not him going through surgery, pain then having to take care of 3 babies so this doesn't surprise me. Still exactly the same 1cm and 50% effaced so I'm sure nothing will happen before friday. I'm so disgusted with him right now. Even if it didn't work it's the principle of it all. He didn't touch me the entire time I was pregnant with the twins because he was worried something would happen. Ok I didn't like it and the drs' said we'd be fine but if that made him feel better whatever. Then we dtd 1x and boom pregnant again so it's been 9 freakin months again so basically 1x in 18 months. This is ridiculous. What's the excuse now? Something needs to happen I am due it's not like preterm labor. The dr is who suggested this. You'd think with all these babies we can't keep our hands off each other but if people only knew. To top it off he'll probably never touch me again after the baby worried I'll get pregnant again. This is so ridiculous.

Good luck! 4 more days is a long time, you never know something could happen....

But I feel for you - I went through the exact same thing (only not with DH, I had the opposite problem) a week ago and kept hoping to go into labor on my own. Never happened and ended up with a c-section last Tuesday.

Surprisingly, recovery from the second c-section went MUCH BETTER than with the first. Don't know why, but it was a true blessing becuase I was worried about taking care of the twins too. I was walking around just fine by the time we got home and even figured out how to lift them up (19 months old, 20lbs. each) w/o using my stomach muscles, just my arms.....

Try waking him up seductively at 3 a.m. Usually works for me if he has been unwilling while awake, LOL. Good luck! I'm praying you can avoid your c/s.
