3rd Birthday Gift Ideas...

My family has already started asking what to get the kids for their birthday-which is at the end of August!!! I have no idea what o suggest....any suggestions?

 

i have no clue but im excited to see what others write.. i will have 2 2 year olds and a three year old.. yikes..

 

My kids just turned 3 and for their birthday they got a Power Wheels tractor that seats 2, Lots of big floor puzzles since they are into those. What they loved the most was all the craft supplies my friend gave us. A huge tub full of finger paints, crayons markers, playdough and cutters. They love making things at this age.

 

Mine will be 3 in May and they will be getting balance bikes (glider rider), some paints and different texture brushes to go with the easel they got for Christmas, automoblox cars (they both love cars), and some puzzles and new books. I think the grandparents are talking about getting them the leapsters and some outdoor toys.

 

My girls got quads, easel stuff,FP cameras,books, puzzles,educational stuff and huge peg board etc.

 

My boys just turned 3yrs at Christmas. They get ALOT of "stuff" at once between their b-day and the holiday. Here's some of what they received from friends and family (boys prespective only here).

Loads of books (Dr Suess and Mercer Mayer series..their favs)
Craft supplies, paint, colored pencils and a double easel
Play-Doh table
Power Tools and Black and Decker Work Bench
Thomas the Train pieces for train table
Thomas the train aquadoodle...1,2,3 draw with me.
Fisher Price Digital Camera
Fisher Price "Star Station" (karoake for TV)
Animal Planet stuff (dinosaurs, safari animals, aquatic)
Some basic board games (Candyland, Cherry game)
Bug catching kit
Dora/Diego toys and books
Superhero/action figures (spiderman, superman,etc)
Cars from the movie "Cars"
LeapPad stuff
Velcro baseball glove and ball
Puzzles for 3yr olds
DVD movies (Ice age, Curious George, Barnyard,etc) and a few VCR tapes. (They have their own little VCR and my one son is a whiz with "AV" stuff. The VCR tapes hold up better...but now they can handle DVD's carefully also).

 

Our kid's b-days aren't until Aug. but one of the gifts I plan on buying is the v-tech learning system.

 

My girls are turning 3 in August as well, and the only thing I am SURE we are getting them is Fisher Price Digital Cameras...they are going to LOVE them! I can't wait! (but I can...)

 

K and K turned 3 on the 20th of March.. They each got a Bike and the new Fisher Price Laptop Computer. ??? How do your chidren like the Fisher Price Digital Camera?? I wanted to purchase those but I didn't think they would be able to operate them.

 

Their favourite gifts last year when they turned 3 were:

Puzzles!
Bike helmets (so they could finally ride the two wheelers that their Godparents bought them when they were one)
Sidewalk Chalk
A wagon
Pool for the back yard
Sunglasses
Sleeping bags (although we only went camping twice last year, we plan to do a lot of camping this summer).
