Hey, just thinking about possibly doing a session, although I feel like it is cheating by seeing the babies :) any thoughts?? Who did it? Anyone not want it, or regrets?? And Yes, i know it is a little pricey.. Just wondering!

I just did it this past weekend and it was great. I'm actually in the process of posting a couple of the photos. The babies cooperated very nicely so we got some great pictures. I'm really glad I did it- no regrets at all!! Good luck!

I have wanted to do it- told the best time is around 28 weeks- and since it is appearing I am getting close to being put on bedrest- I don't think it will happen- I don't think I can justify spending the money :p But if it weren't for cost I would be all for it!

We did it!! I think it was around 25 weeks. they don't like you to be too far along because they fear that it gets too crammed & won't get many good shots. You can see my icon below with a view of both the boys' little faces. I loved it, they were both very cooperative and the tech was very nice and explained everything to us as he went through different views. I would recommend it. It will make you want to hold them even more though!!

I had one done and was warned that i may not get any good photo's. I got some good shots of my son - Twin A, but my daughter was most shy and would not show her face for love nor money.
Everyone is saying how expensive it is....it cost me $60 in Australia, with some pics and a DVD.
Anyway, I dont regret it other than that the Tech was really rough and it hurt - though I wouldn't imagine that was common. I had mine done at 25 weeks, as they thought any later and the bubs might be too squished. :)

I'm from Australia too and I get all my ultrasounds done by 3D -- I just had one at 28 weeks and I got the best pictures of them. I feel so lucky to have pictures of them and CD to look at and know that they are growing in there. I still can't wait to see them in person though.

Maternal Fetal Diagnostics did ours for free as a "practice" 3D ultrasound. I say practice because they knew we were interested in seeing a 3D scan, but it's not a patient service. It's not actually something we can request, it's only for a doctor requesting a scan for a suspected abnormality - which we don't qualify for (thankfully). Anyway, the babies were not cooperative ( ) and we saw a partial on my son. It was surprising and interesting to see that as a fetus he has the features of my father's family as many babies in my family do when they are first born. They wanted to do ours at 30 weeks so there was plenty of fat under the skin. The only trouble is that's far along for twins b/c it's very cramped in the womb by then. HTH.

I didn't. I'll be able to see them better when they arrive! :) I'm just going to be patient, for once.
