39 week appt

So, I just got back from my appt and, I have to admit, I'm really depressed. I mean, I left crying. There is NOTHING going on down there. Maybe a finger tip but she's still not engaged or anything. I was expecting a little more but I'm sealed up like a drum. All these contractions, NADA. I'm just so tired from being up all night. I wouldn't mind waking up all night long for a reason, like a hungry baby, but peeing just isn't a satisfactory reason. I go back on MOnday and if things are still the same, I go back at 41 weeks as I'm truly not favorable for induction. I have to be honest, I sense PPD coming on again already. I have to go back to work on March 31st so going overdue leaves me so little time with the baby. Sorry to be such a downer.

 

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things get moving down there for you.

 

Hope things get moving for you soon. Sounds like the back to work situation is not helping.

Oh man!! I picture this happening to me totally!!! I hope she gets moving fast!

 

((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) I had a bummer appt today too! I was 90% effaced, 2cm dialted and lost my mucus plug last week. Since then, NOTHING! I could have cried. I am trying to keep my eye on the goal; 9 days till c-section but I feel lousy, started vomiting again and continue to pack on the pounds.

Do you want to go running tonight and shake these babies loose? I am so crampy from my internal today that I cannot stand it. Ouch!

Sorry you had such a bummer of an apt. I hope that things get moving quickly for you soon. You need to have a good heart to heart talk with this baby! I'm sorry yo uhave to go back to work so soon...that does make things rough.

Yes, DH has made less than romantic offers. lol. Kind of kills the mood. Thanks for all the support. I really needed it. I'm thinking of getting another prenatal massage this weekend, but it's over $100. I odn't think he'll go for it, which I can't blame him since I'm currently not bringing in any money.
