38w3d Appt

Well... We are 3cm today and I think he said 50% thinned out?? I didnt quite here that part and baby is sill very low. He asked if I wanted to hang out a bit longer or If I wanted to be induced on Friday...

I told him I would just hang out. Theres really no reason for induction and I dont want to take any chances that I wont progress and need a c section.

My next appt is Tuesday. He said we can talk again next week if I still have not had the baby yet. However he said I will NOT be going past 41 weeks. So the end even if its 41 weeks is in sight..lol

We are pretty much ready for him.. I still need to find a swing for him ( the one we bought was broke ) and I want to get him an activity mat. Oh and I need to get the mattress pad and sheet in the crib but it will be a while before he sleeps in that.

So I guess for the most part were ready. Just waiting on him to decide when hes coming... I have been having contractions (painful ones) since last Tuesday so almost 8 days already......

Sounds like you're nearing the end. Enjoy...I totally miss feeling baby inside although at the end I was ready. KWIM?

Acouple short weeks ago I really reaslly wanted him out. Then once the reality hit that he could be coming any day I didnt want him out anymore. I had what I thought was an easy labor and delivery with the boys and Im honestly scared to death to have this baby. IDK why but I'm happy with him staying in. I feel like Im a first time mom going to do something I have never experienced before. The thing is with the boys I was never scared or nervous. Maybe b/c their birth was very unexpected at 34w6d where this one I ahve been dialated for weeks and it could happen any time. I ahve no idea but I scared out of my mind.
