I made it this far with some borderline, but mostly good BP readings. GD under control, and not spilling any protein that I have been aware of. Well today, my BP was high. In fact the nurse wouldn't let me know what it was (why do they do that) and got a 2nd nurse to take it. It was 156/94. So, not good...but I have seen myself much higher even while on meds (which I am not on now)

I then found out that I HAVE been spilling protein for the past 3 or 4 weeks!!!??? Amazing! This is the 1st I have heard about it. I love my OB, and she is the same one who I saw with the twins. She is the same one who very carefully helped to balance my health with their gestation and we all ended up healthy in the end. I think that she was under the impression that I knew about the protein from the nurses. Of course, had I known about this before today, I would have already requested another 24 hour and the bloodwork.

I went to the lab for bloodwork today and to pick up my jug. The lab tried to tell me that I could have my blood drawn when I bring the jug back on Sat. I told them "no, the dr wants the bloodwork now." So I should get those results Friday (hopefully) and the 24 hour results on Monday when I go back. My c section is currently scheduled for the 8th and I hope I make it that far.

I am just really, really frustrated to find all this out today.

:hug99: :hug99: I'm sorry this is all causing you frustration. I'm also sorry they didn't say anything when they found out. :( I hope the results come back okay. ONly a couple of more weeks.

:hug99: , It's frustrating when the Dr. thinks the nurse tells you what she is supposed to tell you about whats going on. Let us know how your bloodwork turns out. Good luck!!!

I hope everything goes well for you -- by the way, we have the same due date and I'm also schedule for delivery on the 8th (though by induction in my case!). Here's hoping we both make it through one more week!

It's supposed to be a lucky day. I don't know about you, but I could use some good luck in my life *lol*

Personally, I think I'd feel more lucky if I had this baby tonight! But I guess 5 days isn't THAT long to wait, right?

Everything seems ok with the blood work but as of 4pm yesterday the lab still had not submitted to my Dr the results of the 24 hour urine test. So far, we are still holding out for Friday.
