38 Week appointment

    I had my 38 week appt last night. I am 70+% effaced and 3 cm dialated. BP was good and so was the growth and heartbeat of the baby. We set up an induction for Tuesday 4/22 at 7:30 unless he makes his debut own his own before. I feel like I am cheating by being induced at 39 weeks instead of just hanging on until I go on my own, but Just can't cope with being pregnant any longer than I have to.

    I figured I would go into labor alst night just because the child care I have lined up would be unavailable today due to the funeral, but here I am still. Hopefully, he can just wait until this afternoon or evening, even though I am almost positive I'll be waiting until next Tuesday.

    That's so exciting and don't think of it as cheating...you have done a fantastic job and it's time to meet this little guy.
