37 weeks !!! Finally 1 cm !!!! and a AVOIND BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY/ BABY DEPOT!

Havent posted in a while, Hollidays had us going nutso!

So Weds we went to the doc. Everything went great, She said that the fluid is kinda low ( 12mm) apparently still in normal range, but on the low end. Any way, They did a NST and set us up for another one today. We went back today and all is good but 5 contractions in 45 minutes and 1cm dialated ! so ANY DAY NOW !!!! WOOO HOOOO! Never thought we would have made it this far! They are saying next week! Even though the CS is scheduled for the 17th!

VENT: AVOID BABY DEPOT IN SAVANNAH GA AT LL COSTS, AVOID BABY DEPOT AND BURLING COAT FACTORY ALL TOGETHER AS A MATTER OF FACT !!!!

We ordered our cribs and paid in FULL on 10/5/06, and were told 6-8 weeks. 12 weeks later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyway. I have to eve hear an apology! These people are unreal! It's like a ZOO in there! We can't even get our money back or an answer on when we will get our crib. So we filled a BBB complaint. GRRRRR.......

About Baby Depot, I've heard bad things about them from others, too. Sorry you have to go through this now. Did you pay by credit card? If so, did you try contesting the charge directly through your credit card company? If they charged your card and didn't deliver the goods then you might have some recourse there. Good luck.

 

Sorry about the cribs!! I will avoid those stores!! I have heard
bad things about baby depot from others also!!

YAY!!! I can't wait to read your birth story!!! we are scheduled for the 3rd but dh wants them
to come before the end of this month - for the tax money!! I am also 1cm! so we'll see!!!

Sorry to hear about the cribs...that is so awful!! UGH! Hope it can all get resolved! and SOON!

 

We had a simliar problem with our cribs, but it was with Babies R Us. I have never dealt with more unprofessional people before. When the stuff did come, the dressers were in the wrong color. They re-ordered them, and they were in the wrong color again. We were still trying to get everything straightened out about 6 months after the boys were born.

 

Sorry about the crib hassle - sounds like a nightmare! But - hooray for any day now, what a great cooking job you have done! Hang in there, looking forward to birth story and pics!
