37 week appt today

I had my 37 week appt with the OB tonight. All is well. Weight gain is right at 39 lbs (I'm hoping I don't go over 40 before delivering...lol) and BP and urine were both fine. She did an internal...I'm 1 cm and 70% effaced...was hoping for more But, that's about the same as last week. So, all those crazy contractions I had on Saturday were for nothing. LOL! I did ask what to look for before calling to go to the hospital (should I go into labor before my c/s on 3/13). She told me I should be calling if I have 7-8 contrax in an hour. So, at least I have something to go off of now.

I'm still measuring 34 weeks (measured that last week too), but since the baby has dropped a little, that's still normal. I think she will just be a peanut when she is born. I can't wait to see. Her HB was 150 (active little thing).

So, good appt and I got back in a week.

 

Sounds like a pretty good appointment. I can't believe how close you are to having her. I swear you just announced you were pregnant!

I know!!! I was out with my friends (the girls I met in the NICU) and we were discussing how it had been close to 3 years now that we've all been friends and it's b/c of our kids, etc...then, as we were leaving it was weird b/c they were like, "OMG, the next time we see you, you'll have another baby adn NOT be pregnant anymore!" That got me SOOO excited. We are finally ready, nothing more really to do and the MOST I have left is 16 days!! I get chills just thinking about it. I can't wait to meet her, see her and cuddle her!!!!!

 

That's great that you guys are ready. We've never been ready until after we've brought babies home...lol That must be a big weight off your shoulders.

Are the girls getting excited? I bet they will be the best big sisters ever!

 

I agree it does seem like you just announced that you were pregnant!! How exciting that you will get to meet,cuddle and see you baby girl soon.!! I hope you have a relaxing and restful 16 days!! Congrats on your great appointment!!!

 

You're almost there! That is so exciting! Glad to hear your appt. went well. Only a couple more of those left!

 

She is comign fast! I cannot believe it!!!!! I cannot wait to hear the birth story.
