Just a little update from my ultrasound today. I am extremely excited to tell you that both babies are headed in the right direction! YIPEE! I really hope that I will deliver them naturally...but I guess we'll cross that bridge when its time for me to go to the hospital.
Anyways...Baby A measured in at 6lbs 2.5 ozs and Baby B measured in at 6lbs 7.5 ozs! Both heart beats were above 135...and both had alot of activity going on, as well they were praticing breathing.

I have a dr. appointment this friday...and can't wait to see what he says. I really want to make it until June, which is only 10 days away! The dr. won't let me go past June 4th, but would prefer the 5th if I make it that far anyways...whats the extra day.

Just one question....does the mucous plug always come out prior to contractions starting regularly? I had mine stripped and I was induced with my 2nd DD, but my 1st DD my plug came out the week prior to labour starting. I know every labour can be different, but was wondering if I would start labour with out "the show" or plug coming out.

    THATS IT....

    Juli

How exciting! Everything is looking good!

With DS I went into labor without losing my mucous plug or any bloody show until I was actually in active labor. It was totally different with DD; but in my experience you can go into labor without any prior "warning" coming from "down there"!

Congratulations on a great appointment, it sounds like your little ones are doing great! As far as your plug I attempted an induction at 37 weeks. I did not notice anything before that point. I actually lost it in the bed during my induction, so I really don't know. I know that when I was 36 weeks I was praying to see something everytime I went to the bathroom! Good Luck they will be here before you know it.

    Congrats on a fantastic appointment!

I do think you can start labor without the show!

    Enjoy the final stretch Momma!

Juli -- glad to hear everything is perfect!! Wow, you're only two weeks away, at the very most -- hope those munchkins stay put for you, and that labor goes as smoothly as possible!

I had bloody show last time when my labor started, but I don't recall ever seeing (or noticing) the plug. I think it can happen even if you don't see either....

Hey Juli, didn't your babies just recently flip? It seems like I remember you posting something regarding not wanted a csection after to vag births?

Anyway, if they did just flip that gives me some hope (mine are both breech)! How was your OB appt today?
