36 week apt

I had my 36 week appt today with the OB. It went great. I had my first internal and I am 1 cm dilated...not that that really means anything, but it's nice to hear a bit of progress and that it's NOT a big deal...lol! I dilated at 27 weeks with the twins, that was a BIG deal...heheh! Anyway, baby was quiet...must've been sleeping. Her heart rate was 140 (it's normally 160 b/c I'm always there in the morning when she's going nuts). Had my Group B Strep test. I must've blocked from my memory that that is ALSO a rectal swab. Lovely! And, my fundal height is 34 cm (still 2 weeks behind, but that's been consistent throughout) Anyway, that's about it. It was a good apt. I have 3 weeks and 2 days left....we are almost there to meeting our little girl!!! I'm getting SUPER excited!

That's great!! Its quickly approaching now.

Also, did you ask your dr about the acid reflux? Just wondering if he prescribed you anything to help you.

I didn't. It's gotten a little better. I have been watching more carefully what I eat during the day adn limiting it to one pill right before I go to bed and it seems to have helped me out. That and maybe the baby has moved down a bit and kind of given me some relief. Who knows...but after that bad spell I posted about last week, it seemed to have let up a bit.

 

Becky you look great! I can't believe 36 weeks already! Boy that went fast (at least for me :laughing: )

We are pretty sure her name will be Olivia Paige. We are pretty much stuck on that and we haven't told anyone except for the girls...but they cant' say it very well, so everyone tries to get it out of them and it's funny b/c they can't understant what the girls are saying! I still really like Claire Elise, but DH doesn't like that at all. So, I pretty much lost all hope when he went to Michael's and bought O-L-I-V-I-A wooden letters for me to put on the wall...lol!
