36 week appt.

Here is what I wrote on my blog. Oh, I measure 38 weeks this time. I think last weeks doctor doesn't know how to measure (measured me at 43 cm) At least I got an ultrasound out of it!

I just got back from an appt. We had an appt. and an ultrasound because the last doctor said I was measuring WAY big. The ultrasound (which can be off by quite a bit at this stage) says that the baby is in the 7 pound range. Yikes! Today's doctor felt and said that she guesses the ultrasound was pretty accurate. So, based on the baby gaining about a half pound a week, I could be looking at having a 9 lb baby! Double yikes! But, think about it this way... I was carrying twice this size with my last pregnancy! The worry though is with delivery. I want to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after C-section). He is head down so the possibility is there. I am dialated to 1cm. That is about it! He is very active and I have issues at night sleeping.
Clayton & Audrey are doing well. They know a baby is coming, just probably don't 'get it.' My next appt. is next week.

Getting so close. I can't believe you are already dilated to a one. You are gonna have a big healthy baby. I'll let you all know on tuesday how my 36 weeks goes.

Hey Jackie - glad to hear the appt. went well adn you are measuring right on target! You are only a month away (or less!). How exciting!!! I knw what you mean about the twins know a baby is coming, but don't really "get it." For a week after we brought Olivia home, the girls were STILL kissing my belly good night like they used to. Now, they understand and don't do that anymore...maybe my belly is just too big still...lol!!!
