36 week appt. today!

Hey all~

Soooo today was my 36 week appointment & things went really well!

The girls are growing alot bigger than what I had thought!

Baby A (Sydney Joelle) weighed in at approx. 6lbs 3oz and Baby B (Chloe Katherine) weighed approx. 5lbs 10oz!!!

NO wonder things are getting so difficult - I am not even 5 feet tall & to have all that weight in there I feel like a huge weeble-wobble!

I have an amnio scheduled for Thursday (to make sure the lungs are properly developed and then if all goes well the C-Section is set for Friday the 28th! ONE MORE WEEK.

My Dr. is keeping me on the Procardia right up until the c-section (which I thought was too long, but since I have had a placenta previa the whole pregnancy it is the safest way so that I dont, hopefully, go into labor on my own).

I have to keep telling myself over and over again that I can make it....some days it seems impossible. Hips hurt, pressure hurts, zero sleep, back hurts, crying spells, frustration, bedrest, messy house, ughhhhhhhhhhh! Turning over in bed is the absolute WORST!! Only 7 more crazy nights of this though! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone, even considering that we found out about our pregnancy so so early on due to fertility treatments. I feel like I have been pregnant for a year!!

Well, thats all for now ~ I hope everyone is doing well, or at least as well as can be expected & have a HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

That is so great, you're babies are getting big. Hope all goes well and best wishes for a wonderful birth experience. Not long now and you will be holding you sweet baby girls. Have a merry christmas, next year will be so different.

Congrats on making it this far! Only one more week and you will get to meet your precious babies. I understand how you feel with all the aches and pains...and I am only 30 weeks, I know it will only get worse from here. Keep hanging on. You are so close!

Congratulations! Believe me, if you can make it, you will be so relieved. The NICU journey really sucks.
