36 1/2 week appointment update...

So, I had my appointment today. All and all things are good. My weight however i was very surprised...the nurse weighed me twice just to ensure it was accurate...i gained 8 lbs in one week :shok: This is all water retension, bp was great and no protein in the urine. My belly has also grown another 2 cm in a week!!! I cant believe how shinny my beely is from the skin being stretched so tightly!!!!

Despite all of the contractions i have been having, i remain at 2 1/2 cm dialated (same as last week). I mentioned to my doctor the complete discomfort i am having in my lower back between my hips, the pain in the pubic bone and how I am only sleeping for maybe 1/2 hour at a time right now. He took note of all of that and says right now there is nothing to be worried about as i am healthy and my u/s 2 days ago was fine.

I did also mention that I am ready to hold my babies...he said that there is nothing that he will do right no to induce as i am not 37 weeks yet. He did say that sat. would be a good day to have them though!!! He also did say that if i do not have the babies this weekend that I am to call his office on monday.

I am really hoping that things are going to happen really soon...but for now it is still a waiting game!!!

It looks like b/gtwinmom07 may have her little ones first at this rate...she at least has a date in sight :banana: :a_smil09: :banana: :a_smil09: :yahoo: I still need to be patient...but it will all happen soon enough!!!!!

:banana: Yeah for a great appointment! :a_smil09: They will be here before you know it! Those last couple days/weeks are the worst as far as the anticipation!

Wow, you're doing really great and how exciting that the end is so near for you. Can you believe your babies might be here in a week? Please do keep us posted!

Well you could have them tomorrow...... But still I think if not, you will call Monday and they will schedule you later in the week. How exciting. I am scheduled for Monday but they could come between now and then. We will just have to see. I have my appt at 10am this morning so I will post when I get back.
