35 weeks today!

It certainly seems that twin pregnancy milestones make me feel like superwoman! I hit the 35 week mark today, I can't believe it! I am so excited!(and a little weepy and overwhelmed feeling!!!!)

I had an appt. today. Originally they were going to do a growth scan, but they decided not to because I just had one less than 48 hours ago at the peri, who sent over the report and some of the images, and since everything looks good, they said there was no need. I could have slept an extra 40 minutes, but that's okay.

I saw a doctor (instead of a midwife) for the first time since my first trimester, and she said everything looks and sounds good. They want me back next week for another checkup with the midwife, and then on 1/3 they will do an ultrasound to check the boys positions. If they are still both head down, they want to schedule an induction at 38 weeks. If either of them has turned, they'll schedule a c-section for 38 weeks.

Ah, the end is in sight!!!!

 

Congrats. Enjoy this time...it goes by so fast. I had my girls at 39 weeks..and they are 4 yrs old now. I miss being pregnant..no matter how uncomfortable I was. LOL

Yeahh!!! We are both 35 weeks, amazing to be this far. Sounds like you have a great plan in place for an induction and/or c-section. My section is scheduled for January 14th, our hospital wont do c-sections earlier than 38.5 weeks. At that point I will be 39 weeks, LORD help me if I go that far!

Are you pretty uncomfortable? I have turned a corner in the last day or two, walking is really tough and my b/h contractions are increasing in strength and frequency at night...but nothing in a pattern that would make me call. I am already dilated 1 cm and effaced. Pretty exciting!

I would like to go another week or two and if I go into labor they will just do my c/s. That way I can go into the surgery confident that their lungs are ready and not be sooo nervous.

Thank goodness we have Christmas to distract us right now! Keep going buddy, great to read your update Pretty soon it will be spring and we can RUN again! I really miss it. Cant wait to feel that 'free' feeling of running and breathing by myself!
