35 week apt, NST, and date set

We went in for our NST today and all looked good. The babies cooperated and passed with flying colors and best yet no contractions registered during the 45 minutes.

We then went to the dr for our 35 week apt. Everything looks good so far. My cervix is still closed and hard. My uterus is measuring 40 weeks which he said explains all of the contractions and cramping I have been feeling. I gained another 2.5 pounds, which is the first weight I have gained in the last 3 weeks. He said my swelling is about a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10 so not too bad and everything else looks good. We set my c/s for May 9th, but he doesn't think that we will make it that far. He is going out of town tomorrow and won't be back for 12 days so I hope that they stay in until he gets back. I have to see another dr next week in his absence, not thrilled.

I think that is it until next week.

great appt! it seems like our doctors are all going on vacation at the worst time -ack!

 

Way to get a date… even with it being 3-4 weeks away, having it makes me feel better… I hope it does for you as well… and I know, what is up with our Drs going out of town... I said to mine when he told me “I thought we discussed this!”

Well we only have a couple weeks left… I see a light at the end of the tunnel… lets hope its not a train :huh:

Sounds like a great appt, so glad to hear the contractions didn't affect your cervix :good: !!! Only a month to go, WTG momma!!!!!

 

Thanks everyone, it is getting so close and so real now. Our dr's really do need to have better timing.
