35 week appt tonight

Here is my update for tonight: BP 122/88 Measuring 44 weeks (Can you say YIKES?), 50% effaced, 1 cm dilated, +1 stage. Next appt date is Valentine's Day night.

He would not give us a date....he says there is no reason to do a c-section since both babies are head down. In fact, he thinks we could basically go anytime. He could feel Baby A's head & fluid when he did my cervix check. I thought she had dropped b/c I'm having more trouble walking than I was. He thinks I'll go into labor on my own in the next week or two. So...I'm feeling kind of "up in the air" on things. Makes me nervous, kwim?

Sounds like you are far enough along to be in the clear and "any day now" is definitely nerve wracking, I know I feel like I have been any day now since 32 weeks. I am 3cm dilated, 90% effaced and -1 station as of my appt today. I have been dilating for awhile now so I am just in limbo until the babies decide they are ready to come out.
I know twins are definitely different ballgame, but I went for the last 4 weeks up to my due date with DD being almost exactly what you are right now(except I was more effaced).

A week or two would be good. Sounds like your body is getting ready. You are almost there!
