35 week appointment update!

Well, things seem to be going well! I had an ultrasound and saw my OB today, and I felt that I would NEVER get out of the office, but I made it!! The ultrasound showed that they are doing great! Their estimated weights are 6 lbs. 7 oz. & 6 lbs 11 oz. I was really surprised! 2 weeks ago they were 5 and a little over 5 so there has definately been some growth which explains why I have been feeling really uncomfortable :lol:

Anyway, the downside is that my doctor is on vacation next week in Italy :mellow: and he did not seem convinced that I would go beyond that.... I NEED to go longer than that though! We are SO NOT ready for babies in the house yet! Right now we have no place for them to sleep, have not got any of their equipment set up, our dining room (which will be the changing/dressing area) is torn up needing paint and patchwork before the furniture can go back in... our house is basically trashed with this project taking MUCH longer than expected!

At least things look good with the babies! Keep your fingers crossed that I last at least until my doctor gets back from vacation and better yet that I go until my scheduled delivery date of 11/8!

 

Sounds like a great appt. and things are going well. :clapping: I will keep my fingers crossed that the babies stay put awhile longer.

Thanks!!! I just need a couple more weeks and a shot of reality for my husband!!! It seems he can always find something other than getting the house ready for babies to occupy his time!

Thank you! When my doctor told me I was like, you're kidding right!!! Maybe I don't need premie clothes after all!!

Thanks! I know that they would be okay if they came now, but I really want them to hold off as long as possible. It's better for them and hopefully it will give me time to get my act together too...
