This is from the mass email i sent to family and friends:

Last week was pretty uneventful… my NST (non stress test) on Tuesday (4/1) was fine…. I had a contraction during it that went off the graph… but the boys did perfect during it, so the Dr said he just wanted to sneak a peek at the amniotic fluid around each and Mom got to see her first live ultra sound… BUT the peri goes so fast I’m not sure she knew what she was looking at… well their fluid level was good and the same… Then on Friday I had a very uneventful NST… no contraction and they had great heart beats… so then we went across the street to my regular OB… and he checked my cesarean scar through a u/s (ultra sound) as I have been having some scary pains, and he said it looked great… I am 34 w but my belly measure 38w… we got to see each twin “practice breathing” in that u/s… it was good to see… I haven’t gained anymore weight this week (yippy). My Dr also said he has to go away the weekend of April 25-28 and I will be 37 w then… so I will do everything in my power NOT to deliver that weekend. I personally would like to deliver at 36 (the week Noah was born)… Randy wants 38 (of course he’s not the pregnant one)… he just keeps saying…”I want fat babies this time!!!”

Today we met with the Peri and Baby B is 4 ½ pounds and baby A 5 pounds 9 oz… he said it’s great that Baby B is still gaining and he see no reason to keep watching them… he said he will check their fluid levels one more time (next tue) but other than that they look great… I have another NST on Friday (4/11) and I see my regular OB this Friday… and we will talk then about Cerclage removal (it maybe this Friday or not until delivery May 2nd)

    Thats it :pardon:

I THOUGHT taking it out would send me into labor but my Peri said today, it does happen that they take it out and the cervix just opens, BUT rare… he said with me starting to get more and more contraction (which he said was completely normal at this stage) he would like it out so I don’t run the risk of breaking it… I tend to agree with him… breaking/ripping does not sound very comfortable :icon_eek: …

I think if I started labor they would still try to stop it… at least for a week and half more… my peri said making to 37 w /April 25th (the weekend my Dr is out of town  ) would be his ideal…

I say it has to be the weekend of the April 18th or May 2nd… but we will see… I wonder if we will all come to post one day with all our birth stories… it will be fun to read everyone’s… I hope we all have smooth easy no NICU deliveries…
