34 wk appt today

So....we had our 34 wk appt today. My BP=104/68. I was glad b/c I have started having headaches and floaters in my peripheral vision. No change in wt this week. Babies HR 140-150's for both. Doc says my fundal ht isn't changing anymore. Out of room to go up, now going out. He was going to wait to do my GBS next week at my 35 wk appt, but after talking about how many ctx I am having even alternating Procardia and Terbutaline every 3 hours, he decided to do it today. So I had my first cervical check and was 2 cm dilated. He didn't say anything about effacement. So I am going in for a NST first thing Monday morning to see how often I am having ctx and will go from there. He thinks we may have to move c/s to this coming week b/c he feels we are losing the battle with not going into labor. I am contracting about every 8-15 min for the most part, even with the meds. So he said hopefully we'll make it through the weekend. I guess all we can do is wait and see. It is exciting and kind of nerve-racking to think that possibly the babies could be here this weekend.

Oh wow!!! Reading your post made me realize I need to get my butt in gear!!!! I'm a day or two a head of you and have nothing packed or washed just yet. Other than that I'm ready. And if I had to go to hospital I trust hubby to pack the right stuff. I'm so excited for you!!! I hope all goes well and no NICU time is needed!

 

Hope you are hanging in there! I was 2cm and contracting frequently for 7 weeks, I hope you are able to hang in there a bit longer!
