34 weeks and carrying

Well today I went for a fetal u/s and found out that baby A is measuring about 5lbs 2oz and baby B is about 5lbs 10oz. I have some growing boys. WOW almost 11lbs of baby. I am glad I only have gained 30lbs so far. The boys are laying with their heads next to each other on the right side of my stomach and baby B body is up under my ribs. No wonder I can't breathe half the time. Maybe this is the reason to that I am not as hungry as much. Well I am ready to have them when they are ready to come out.

 

That is great! You sound a lot like I did at that time. At about 35 weeks, A was estimated at 6 lbs 2 oz and B was 6 lbs 5 oz. I ended up with almost 14 pounds of baby when they were born but they were way off with A. He ended up being 7 lbs 8 oz at 37.5 weeks and B was 6 lbs 6 oz. I only gained 31 pounds the whole pregnancy.

Congratulations on the great weights. I finually get to find out what mine weigh on Friday. I have not had a growth u/s since 26 weeks. That was 7 weeks ago.

 

Congrats on those great weights and your courage....LOL.

I can't wait to find out how much they weigh next week, it will be interesting to see how much they have in two weeks.

 

Sounds like you had a great appt!! WTG Momma! Those are some excellent weights! No one ever gave me any estimates on the weights so I was shocked when they came out in the mid to upper 7 lb range. Remember thought that those weights are estimates.

Wow, I can't imagine what a transverse baby feels like; Anni's head was stuck up in my diaphram (sp?) for months and I could barely breath, eat, or sleep.

WOW, those are some GREAT weights! I delivered at 34 weeks and was only carrying a total of 8 lbs. 6 oz. of baby. Reagan was 3#14oz. and Morgan was 4#8oz. Morgan was average for her gestation (on the lower end though) and Reagan wasn't even on the growth chart for a 34 weeks gestation.
