I am now at 34 weeks 5 days. Feeling lost. Originally my Doc said 36 weeks, from the very start it has always been 36 weeks. I went to see him on Tuesday now it is a week or 2 before delivery. Which is great for the girls, but very bad for my mental health. I have a great babysitter and since I am on bedrest ( I have a 18 month old boy) who I can not pick up, so she is here all day. And all day she comments on what I should do with my house and why can't I get this or that. I should get a triple stroller since my youngest did only turn 18 months today. I don't want ot lose her or say the wrong thing but I am losing my mind. I kept saying to myself only 2 weeks left, then the doc says any where from 4 weeks to 5 weeks. WHat should I do. Last night she told me I should put an island in my kitchen because there is so much room. For goodness sake I have been on bedrest since 22 weeks which means I haven't worked in over 3 months, is she insane, where should I get this extra money for an island when I am barely paying the morgage.

Sorry for the vent but everyone around here that I try to talk to says she is only trying to help ( Help what make me go bankrupt)

I had an Us done yesturday and baby A decided that a C-Section was best she is now breech. I find out weights and measures on Monday!

Thanks again for listening to me vent - Hope you all are having a better day!

I am right there with you. I have a 21 month old, who, thankfully is in daycare during the day. I have been on bedrest for 17+ weeks, and my house is a wreck and we aren't ready for these babies.

I was thinking my peri would deliver before t-giving (which is 38 weeks) but my c-esction is scheduled for 38w4d. OMG.

However, I'm thankful I'm on bedrest because I'm exhausted. And, although I'm having some trouble physically, I want to keep them in because I'm just not ready to have them here!

btw, we didn't get a triple stroller, we got a double stroller and a "leash" - I think DH is just going to have to come with me whenever we go out with the three of them.

Don't let the babysitter get to you - try to enjoy this time left to "yourself" and don't stress yourself out - you've done GREAT getting them this far! Blow off everyone else. Who cares what they think!

Every time she leaves the room, tell your pillow exactly what she can do with her advice. Who knows, it might make you feel better. If not you might laugh at how silly you feel yelling at the pillow. :p

I have a cousin who told me I was so lucky because I 'get' to buy two of everything. I wanted to strangle her.

When your babysitter gives one of her "suggestions"......Tell/ask her to go wash the kitchen floor or to go scour the toilets! (in other words be sweet as pie and give her a dirty job to go do!) That should make you feel better! LOL!

Hang in there!!! My docs always said 37 was as long as I would go. Then as I got closer they said there is no reason to induce. I was going insane those last few weeks with aches and pains and insomnia etc. I finally went into labot at 38w2d. Just keep in mind how much better your babies will do with each day of baking inside. Sorry the babysitter is no annoying!!!

I feel for you I really do. I don't particularly like it either when people tell me what I should be doing when all I feel like is resting. I went out with a friend the other day and she turned around and said I keep forgetting you are pregnant and I said well every time you forget just take a sneak peek at me and you might remember that I am hopefully do that before I pass out from all this walking into every single store that you can possibly find lol. I truly do think people are a little ignorant on how different a multiple birth can be. Not that I can really compare it seeing as this is my first but my body says that it must be (either that or I am just a very lazy weak person lol) I choose to believe it is because I am having a multiple birth lol.
