34 week appt., big babies!

Had my 34 week appt. today with the peri, and my first NST. I was surprised to learn that I have to go back twice a week for NST's now, but no more Peri Appt./US. She said everything looks great, they are estimated at 5lbs.10oz. and 5lbs.4oz. Wow! No wonder I feel huge! She also said that at this point they wouldn't stop labor if anything happened... the babies should be fine... I feel like I'm really in the home stretch now.

My BP was on the high end again, 142/80...

I'm getting so excited to meet these little guys!

PS- Prevacid is working wonders for my heartburn and has made my persistent cough disappear, which is SO nice... I'm so thankful the Doc. thought of that connection, I sure didn't.

Congrats on such a great appointment and getting to 34 weeks! Those are great weights!!!

 

You ARE in the home stretch now! Prevacid did wonders for me too! I bet the next few weeks are going to fly by...and soon you'll have babies on the outside---how fantastic.

Sounds fantastic!! I was soo happy when I reached 34 weeks because I could deliver at my home hospital and things were far enough along that my docs wouldn't stop labor either. It is a major accomplishment! Congratulations! Keep up the great work!

 

Congrats on the great weights. I am so jealous that you are almost there I feel like I have forever. My brother and his wife just brought home their little boy yesterday and after seeing him I can not wait to meet mine!!!! Good Luck

 

Congratulations! Nice weights! That was about what we were at that point too. I remember the relief at that point too. Take it easy!

Wow, you and I are only 1 day apart and our babies weights are right around the same.
I was surprised at how huge they were too.

That is all great news!! My twin b didnt weight that much and she was born at 38w2d!!!!!! Congrats!!!
