33 wk appt yesterday :)

My first NST went perfectly, the nurse said I had 2 happy babies in there. (They were moving A LOT) Growth scan also went well. They are 4 lbs 2 oz and 4 lbs 6 oz at approx 32.5 wks or so. My cervix is still iron clad at 3.5, so things are looking good with regards to preterm labor. As the peri said, anything can happen at any time, but with cervix holding up as it is, there is a strong possibility I may go "all the way." He told me I should write a book on carrying twins which sent me into hysterical laughter of course. It would be a short book. Start the pregnancy overweight, get PIH, have to take about 4 drugs a day for various ailments and chase and lift a toddler around on a regular basis. Oh yeah, and eat McDonald's for breakfast every day!!

At this point, I am nervous that everything is going well, I am always one to wait for the ball to drop, ya know? We'll see. Just taking it one day at a time. I really want these babies to come home with me.

I am still working. Had planned to stop this week, but think I'll work one more week.

You are doing excellant! I can't believe you are still working. Aren't you just exhausted? I consider getting a shower and getting dressed to go the doctor work at this point.Congrats on a good appointment! If you are still able to work I bet you will go all the way.

Melanie -- Yes, definitely exhausted and uncomfortable. That said, I have a toddler at home, so work isn't looking so bad. lol I'm actually only going to work 2 days next week, then stop, so not too bad. That's if the peri says it's ok.

what great news! Try not to worry - sounds like they're doing fine,and you're doing what you need to, so -why make yourself crazy?
