I'm not good at creating my own posts here, but I'm excited to be at 33 weeks, so I thought I'd make an exception :) My girls are measuring 5 lbs 3 oz (baby a) and 5 lbs 5 oz (baby b)!! So that's 7 and 9 days ahead, respectively. Fluid levels, cords, membrane all look good too! The only bad thing is that my baby b went breech again and my doctor wants them *both* head down for me to attempt a vaginal delivery, so i gotta beg her now!

I've been really down lately (until this appt) b/c I'm in such bad pain (pelvic) and everything hurts (and I'm huge!) I feel like I have hit that "wall" I keep hearing about and just want to be done with this already. This appt really lifted my spirits though, and I feel like I can keep hanging in there for a bit more. I *AM* still working, but I'm a figure-skating coach, so I only work a few hours at a time (and off the ice, of course!) early in the morning -- I really wish I could finally quit working, but I get no pay of any sort when I take leave, and I only have enough savings for 2 months, so I press on...

Anyway, I just wanted to share what's up with me -- and if you've hung in there and read this far, my DH and I are struggling with middle names and would appreciate your help in the "naming your twins" thread -- girls' middle names! Thanks in advance for that and thanks in general for all the info you guys provide to me on a regular basis!!!

I really needed to see this post today, I have hit that wall you mentioned, I am in so much pain constantly including painful braxton hicks contrations and pelvic pain. Both my girls are transverse so they are really stretching me out causing yet more pain. I'll find out next week their sizes, at 29 weeks they were 3lbs 4oz and 3lbs 7oz. I have been crying all day saying how can I make it any futher, but your post is helping me to hang in there, thank you.

    Jen,

Congrats on making it to 33 weeks... not long now! As for middle names, we didn't pick any! My girls still don't have middle names, and I kind of like that. We're going to have them pick their own middle names when they're old enough to make a choice. So if you and your DH get stuck, you could always do that...

Thanks everyone! I know so many of you have already been through this and your support means the world to me! For those of you getting to this point, just hang in there -- I swear I don't feel strong at times, but I know if I can hang in, so can you! I'm really proud to have made it this far and I know it'll be worth it if they stay in a few more weeks!! It's so good to know people who actually *understand* how hard this is!!! ((((hugs to you all))))

    jen :)

Awsome work and great baby weights! Any tips on how you got them to grow that big? I'd love to have 5/6 pounders :yahoo:

Hang in there! Your babies weights are great! Both bigger than mine were at 34 weeks. Try and hang in there three more weeks! I went off bedrest at 34 weeks, took a walk and went into labor the next morning. I wish I had stayed in bed two more weeks! My girls are healthy and home, but needed to stay in hospital for a couple of weeks. If I had delivered at 36 weeks I probably would have been able to take them right home with me!! I was so uncomfortable from 31 weeks on and couldn't wait to go into labor hindsight being 20/20 I would have endured two more weeks of misery for no NICU time!!! You are soooooo close, hang in there!!!! Good Luck!
