33 week appt

So glad to hit 33 weeks! 34 will be EVEN better!
Alexander is now 5lbs1oz and Elizabeth is 4lbs5oz. (At 31 wks she was 4-1, he was 4-8)She's starting to fall behind him a bit, but not enough to worry. The Dr thinks she's just a little girl and he's a big boy! He's going to keep a close eye on her though. She is still breech (and in no hurry to change!) and He has totally flipped -- he's been head down on my right side almost the entire time and now his head is on my far left side and he is completely transverse! Their heads are touching and it looks like they are trying to eat each others' face! I had the cord doppler studies done and both look great - no sign of any nuchal cord or compression of any kind. I come off of the Procardia next week and will be curious to see what that does. I really want to get to at least 35 weeks, but just trusting God's timing in when the babies are supposed to be here!!

Congratulations… I hope I make just as far… 35 is my goal (my son was born at 35 w with no NICU).. well really my goal is 38… but you know what I mean

 

Congratulations! I am right there with you celebrating each week (or I should say each day at this point!). I'll be 33 weeks Monday and have a growth scan that day. I can't wait to see how big they are They were 3 pounds 0 ounces at 29 weeks...

I DO completely know what you mean! People ask me what my goal is and It's like I say well," first to get to the next week", and then "36 would be ideal" (anything past this has never seemed like a possibility for me but who knows!), or "I'll feel better once I get past 34 " Other people must think I'm nuts, but I know you girls understand!

i've got both my boys at home with me now and they're both healthy and doing great.
