32 week growth scan

So, dh saw the babies for the first time since the 19 week ultrasound and now he sees why I'm so uncomfortable. My boy's head is right on my bladder and my girl's head is right up against my ribs! Seriously, we are SO thankful that the babies continue to check out well. He measured 4 lbs. 4 oz. and she measured 4 lbs. 7 oz., which was right on track according the the ultrasound tech. My doc says I have plenty of room for them to keep growing--at the very least, I'll go another month . . . so trying to not complain and just get things ready. I probably need at least the next month to do so . . .

So, we're hanging in there!

 

Sounds like all is well. Congratulations on your healthy babies. I know what you mean about the discomfort from the way the babies are laying. Both of mine have their heads in my ribs. Very unfcomfortable and hard to breath. Anyway, good luck with your preparations.

Oh my, I felt that pain! There's no way to get comfortable; relieve the bladder and suffer from reflux. Stretch out so you can breathe and get kicked in the bladder! Hang in there.
