I am officially 32 weeks pregnant!

    Here are the baby stats:

Baby A - Breech (little stinker) 3 lbs 5 oz. measuring 29 weeks

Baby B - close to head down (but her sister is in the way) 4 lbs. 12 oz. measuring 33 weeks

So by my math I have 8 pounds of baby plus 2 placentas and 2 amniotic sacks which makes me larger than the average 9+ months pregnant woman. But I still have weeks to go! Ugh!

You can see that Baby A is quite a bit smaller. This is cause for mild concern but there isn't much to do but watch and wait at this point. The doctor explained that her placenta might not be getting as much blood flow and nutrients as Baby B but she is still within a normal range of development. Because she is breech, I will more than likely have a c-section in 4-5 weeks. She may turn head down but is running out of room to do so. She hasn't changed position at all in 6 weeks Or I could go into labor on my own, water could break etc. The way they are positioned now, I'd still need a c-section which I am not happy about. Oh well....

Next week I start going in twice a week for non-stress tests where they monitor the baby's movements and contractions etc. I'm not on bed rest but it's very hard to get around. I am couch bound and grumpy.

I'm right there with you. Each day that goes by, I get bigger and bigger. I can't imagine getting any bigger. I really don't know how I'll make it another week, let alone 4-5 weeks. It's insane. I've had this horrible pain in my lower-left back for a week now that won't go away. I was doing pretty well until that hit. I thought maybe it was my kidneys or something, but I had my appt. yesterday and I'm fine. I just have to suck it up and deal. I hope these next few weeks go by fast for us both.

Your babies sound almost exactly like mine. My baby A is 4 lbs 15 ozs, and baby B is 3 lbs 6 ozs as of my last ultrasound at 33 weeks. I start NST next week too, but just once per week. Its reassuring to know someone else has the same size babies because I worry about baby B.
My doctor wants me to go to 37 weeks though to her B enough time to grow. 37 weeks! I cannot imagine another week much less another 3!!!

This is going to be a loooonnnngggg 4-5 weeks. I think the only way they would c/s me at 36 weeks is because I have a footling breech baby. I didn't get to see my regular doc today and so I couldn't ask most of the questions I had. Everything hurts today. All my muscles are sore. I think I am sleeping in weird positions. Sigh......

As hard as it is, every day those babies stay in allows them time to grow and be strong. I remember feeling like I couldn't get through the day, but I often wish I took it a little easier than I did. Just sit tight, rest as much as you can and know you're doing the best for your babes by doing nothing!!!

    Good Luck!

I've got one smaller than the other too! Baby A measuring 4 lbs. 13 oz. (but maybe smaller) & Baby B is 5 lbs. 4 oz. I'm trying so hard to fatten them up before scheduled C-sec Tues.!!

My OB sent me for a level II US yesterday because the tech in her office measured Baby A at over 20% bigger than Baby B two weeks ago. He has always measured 10-12% bigger, but suddenly jumped in size per her US tech. She was concerned, gave me the worse case scenarios, which freaked me out a bit, and sent me down to the hospital for the more detail US. I was relieved yesterday when they told me both babies have excellent blood flow through the placentas, strong heartbeats and are measuring

    twin A (boy) 4 lbs 11oz
    twin B (girl) 4lbs

Not quite the gloom and doom my OB predicted from her US techs readings. It really makes me wonder if I should just ask to go to the hospital for the next growth check.

From reading the posts over the last week it seems that a lot of us are having similar issues with b/g twins. I am glad we can post our outcomes and support each other.
